Pricing is calculated by the size of the quilt and the type of quilting required. Our prices include thread costs (premium quality) and are based on you supplying the wadding and backing, however if needed, these can be purchased from us.
Small jobs are also welcome.
Prices shown are per square foot. See the example below to assist you in determining your quilt size and costing.
Example: Cost for edge to edge quilting (from $3 per sq.ft.)
Quilt size 50" x 50"
50 x 50 = 2500 divided by 144 = 17.36 sq. ft.
17.36 sq. ft. x $3 (per sq. ft.) = $52
Pricing categories
Edge-to-edge quilting: From $3 per sq ft
Edge to edge quilting is a continuous line of quilting extending from one edge of the quilt to the other, rows are then repeated for the length of the quilt. Typically the rows inerlock together to form a seamless all-over quilting pattern, there are hundreds of patterns to choose from.
Combination of edge-to-edge and custom:
From $4.50 per sq.ft.
Custom quilting: From $5.00 per sq ft.
Custom quilting can involve many forms of quilting design. Usually several patterns are chosen and positioned to compliment a particular patchwork design. Individual quotes must be given for custom quilting as customer requirements vary so much.
Turning fee for borders:
$25 - per quilt (where required).
Preparation Fee:
$25 per hr where preparation for quilting is required. Please see the section Quilt Preparation for details.
Binding Service is available if required:
Machine attached binding ready for you to hand sew down - $0.50 per linear foot.
Machine attached binding plus machine it down complete - $1.00 per linear foot.
Machine attached binding plus hand sew it down complete - $3.50 per linear foot.
